Job Description

Make a difference as a full-time urgent care physician with TeamHealth's established and reputable practice setting at ParkMed Urgent Care located in Alcoa, minutes from Knoxville, Tennessee. This practice has been providing primary care, urgent care, and occupational medicine services in the area for over 30 years. Work collaboratively with experienced APC's and support staff in a well-equipped facility with in-house x-ray and lab services.

The ideal candidate is comfortable caring for patients ages two to geriatrics and is skilled in suturing, splinting, would care, minor orthopedics, and interpreting x-rays. This opportunity may involve directorship responsibilities; leadership experience is a plus.

Preferred candidates are family medicine board certified/board eligible with urgent care or emergency medicine practice experience. Candidates should possess an active Tennessee medical license, Tennessee DEA, BLS, ACLS, PALS and DOT certifications. We are currently only accepting practicing candidates; no residents for this position at this time.
